Kuromi's still looking for Romina, but now the search goes sideways into universes where the rules don't apply. The multiverse angle gives the show permission to break its own logic, which is exactly what a comedy adventure needs to stay fresh after season one. You watch her get weirder every episode because the worlds keep getting weirder first.

Kuromi sets out on a new journey, and this time it takes her into the multiverse, where she meets Niko. This second season of the ONA follows the earlier entry, in which Kuromi traveled the world looking for her missing older sister Romina, gathered companions along the way and clashed with evil organizations. As the title promises, the adventure now centers on a big escape from the multiverse, told as a comedy.
