This is space opera that treats its admirals like chess players with actual inner lives, not just pieces moving around a board. Every decision ripples because these are people calculating odds while managing the weight of millions of deaths they've already ordered. The show knows that watching two brilliant commanders understand each other across enemy lines matters more than watching them fight, and it lets those quiet moments of recognition stretch until they break you.

Following Collision, this sequel picks up after Yang Wen-li takes Iserlohn Fortress. With a secure base for pushing into Galactic Empire space, the Free Planets Alliance turns more aggressive and can now strike the Empire hard. Reinhard von Lohengramm refuses to let the Alliance gain ground, driven by the cherished dream of his best friend Siegfried Kircheis that Reinhard be the one to bring the universe together. As the large-scale fighting goes on, Adrian Rubinsky, the scheming ruler of Fezzan, tries to turn the conflict to his own advantage. The twelve episodes of this sci-fi war drama were also shown in theaters, edited into three films.
