You watch a man deliver a traumatized kid through monster-infested darkness and realize the entire show is about what it costs to keep moving forward when everything hurts. Gauche's exhaustion is real, Lag's determination is earned, and their connection forms not through dialogue but through the weight of each step they take together. This is a show about postal workers and it somehow becomes about the only thing that keeps broken people alive: the promise that someone will carry your message, no matter how far.

Gauche Suede, a respected Letter Bee, is on his last delivery before a big promotion. His cargo turns out to be a young boy named Lag Seeing, traumatized by his mother's abduction and bound for his aunt. Amberground lies under constant twilight, and its remote outskirts are home to the Gaichuu, giant insects drawn to people's hearts. Letter Bees carry letters, packages and even people from town to town through this dangerous land. The journey with Gauche inspires Lag, and five years later he sets out to become a Letter Bee himself. As he works to follow his hero, he uncovers the conflict and complexity at the heart of his world. The series blends adventure, fantasy and the supernatural.
