A guy watches his best friend turn into a smoking hot girl and immediately panics because their friendship actually matters more than the horny part. The comedy comes from how hard he tries to pretend he's fine while she's fishing for compliments, and how the show somehow makes you feel the weight of that tension. By episode three you stop laughing at the premise and start caring whether these two actually survive what happens when love and loyalty point in different directions.

Tachibana and Jinguuji are childhood friends and salarymen in their thirties, one famously handsome, the other hopeless with women. On the way home from a mixer, a drunk and frustrated Tachibana wishes aloud to become an irresistible beautiful girl. A goddess then appears, sends them both to another world to defeat the Demon Lord, and grants that wish along the way. Tachibana is now so lovely that even Jinguuji is smitten, and Tachibana finally sees why his friend is so popular. To keep their friendship intact, they must beat the Demon Lord and win back their old bodies before they fall for each other. What follows is a fantasy adventure with a comic, romantic twist.
