Tora-chan and his younger sister Miike are at play while their older sister gets ready for her wedding. Then a letter comes from their grandfather, an old cat who says he will never permit the marriage while he is alive. The bride and groom hurry to the church to wed before he can interfere, but his boat has already come in. It falls to Tora-chan and Miike to hold their grandfather off and keep him busy until the ceremony is done. The film was released in 1948.
