A cat who insists she's a magical princess and nobody believes her. That's the entire show, and it's exactly enough. Each episode unfolds like someone describing a dream to you over tea, warm and meandering, until the finale suddenly pulls back the curtain and reveals something was breaking the whole time. By then you've already fallen for her.

A little cat named Taruto moves to a new city with her master's family and starts making friends in her unfamiliar surroundings. Between exploring the town and landing herself in trouble, she turns out to possibly be a legendary magical princess. Hardly any of her friends believe she can use magic or that she is royalty, but Taruto is set on proving them wrong. Her magic is so unpredictable that nobody can guess what will happen whenever she casts it. The result is a lighthearted magical girl comedy built around a small cat's stubborn belief in herself.
