You don't need to understand Lord of Mysteries to watch this, but if you do, every scene becomes a private joke with people you've been living inside for weeks. The show stops pretending to be mysterious for nine episodes and just lets Klein and the others exist as themselves, no schemes, no survival horror, just a guy trying to navigate being a human being again. It's the kind of palate cleanser that only works because you've already paid in blood to get there.

The cast of Lord of Mysteries is shrunk down into chibi form for a set of comedic shorts. Across nine short episodes, various characters from the series go about their daily lives in playful, lighthearted comedy sketches. The shorts were released alongside the first season of the main series, making them a breezy slice-of-life companion to it.
