Keitaro finally gets what he's been fighting for since episode one, and the show doesn't apologize for making you wait through three OVA episodes to hear it. The fanservice is relentless enough that it nearly drowns out the romance, but when Naru's confession lands, it hits because you've earned it through the entire franchise. This isn't made for people discovering Love Hina now, it's a love letter to everyone who stuck around to the end.

After passing his entrance exams and becoming a Toudai student, Keitaro breaks his leg at the entrance ceremony and decides to rethink his goals. He leaves the Hinata Inn to join Seta on an archaeology trip overseas. While he is away, a woman named Kanako turns up claiming to be his sister and insisting that she is now the manager of the inn, and she quickly sets herself against the tenants. Matters get messier when a letter from Keitaro arrives and everyone scrambles to get hold of it, and messier again once Keitaro comes home to face this sister from his past. The result is a three-episode OVA mixing comedy, drama and romance.
