Lovedol is a popular idol group with two generations of singers already established, and its third generation is about to make its debut. Just before they go on stage, manager Tomohiro finds out that the company president has postponed the debut. The only explanation is that the group lacks something, so Tomohiro and the new members set out to work out what is missing. Tomohiro starts to suspect they need another singer, and a street musician playing guitar, Sakaki Mizuki, catches his eye. Bringing her into the group may prove harder than he expects. The twelve-episode music series is set in the world of idol performance.
