Lupin the 3rd finds himself in an unexpected bind when Inspector Zenigata is arrested and the press names him as the real mastermind behind the thief's heists. The claim wounds Lupin's pride enough that he takes the bait from wealthy magnate Roy Forest: steal the Time Crystal, a once-secret government supercomputer that can crack secure passwords at unheard-of speed, within one week. The job grows complicated as Jigen starts behaving oddly and a young piano prodigy is kidnapped, and Lupin must work out how these threads connect. When his most trusted partner turns against him, Goemon, unable to forgive the betrayal, joins Lupin in the fight. This action comedy special runs as a single episode.
