Mariko doesn't apologize for existing in the second season either. Mariko returns in a follow-up to Chubby Girlfriend & Pity Boyfriend, the romantic comedy about a plus-sized nurse who loves food and has never been in love. She had assumed romance would pass her by until she met Nagi, a handsome man, at a group date she was invited to, and he asked her out. This new batch of short-format episodes runs six episodes.
