Ranka descends into a place where time folds back on itself, where she might meet versions of herself that made different choices. The Macross Frontier story gets a ghost story, and it works because Ranka has always been caught between futures that wanted her. A short that answers nothing and changes everything about how you remember the series.

Years after humanity's desperate war with the Vajra, Ranka Lee is traveling between planets on a concert tour. At one stop she visits the Well of Souls, the ruins of a temple once used to speak with the gods and with the dead. When she draws close to the ruins, something drags her far inside. The short film was screened alongside the Macross Delta movie Zettai Live!!!!!!, and it blends mecha science fiction, music and romance with a supernatural edge.
