Nobody talks about this one. Four otaku sharing an apartment in Akiba, just living, no plot, no crisis, no reason to care except that you do. The comedy lands in the silence between moments, the kind of show that makes you want to sit in a room with people who get it without explaining anything.

Akiba-chan is a posable figurine whose name nods to the otaku habit of collecting anime figures and merchandise. She lives in the Maison de Akiba apartment house alongside four other girls who, like her, are fans of TV and games. These short comedy episodes follow their daily life and relaxed, lighthearted adventures together. The animation mixes computer graphics with a stop-motion technique called figumation, and director Junya Kabe works with character designer Poyoyon Rock.
