Nobody talks about this one. A town where everyone wears animal heads isn't quirky window dressing, it's the perfect setup for comedy that treats absurdity as completely normal, then finds the cynical, cutting humor hiding underneath the kawaii surface. Six episodes of girls being casually mean to each other in fuzzy costumes, finding jokes in the gap between what they're wearing and what they're actually thinking. It's short enough that it doesn't overstay its welcome, which means it never has to explain the joke or soften the edge.

In an ordinary town where everyone naturally wears an animal costume head, Milpom and her friends live out their daily lives. Nobody questions the costume heads. They are simply part of how things are. The comedy mixes an overwhelmingly cute look with girls who can be a little cynical, and it treats its strange setting as completely normal. Told in six short stop motion episodes starring dolls, this 2015 web series builds a surreal, girlish world out of everyday moments.
