Set after the TV series, this romantic comedy film returns to Godai, Kyoko and the tenants of Maison Ikkoku. The residents hold a party to celebrate Yusaku and Kyoko's marriage. In the middle of the festivities, Yusaku learns that Kyoko is expecting a letter, and jealousy takes hold as he begins to wonder whether her heart still belongs to someone else. The truth behind his fears comes to light when morning arrives.
