SYNOPSIS
Akira has spent years perfecting an impossible dream: engineering a girlfriend from scratch. When his scientific breakthrough finally succeeds, No. 0 emerges into existence as his creation, a being designed specifically for him. But designing someone and loving someone turn out to be very different things. No. 0 exists in a strange liminal space between artificial and real, caught between Akira's carefully programmed expectations and her own emerging consciousness. As they navigate their relationship, the boundary between creator and partner becomes unstable. Akira must confront whether he loves No. 0 for who she actually is or simply for being the embodiment of his fantasy. The film balances romance with unsettling sci-fi questions about consent, autonomy, and what it means to build another person. It's tender and troubling in equal measure, asking whether love that begins in a lab can ever be genuine when the imbalance of power is written into someone's very code. What develops between them becomes less about perfect design and more about imperfect connection.
