In the year 311 of the Orbital Calendar, humanity lives spread across countless clusters of space colonies. Akiha Shishidou, a girl from one of those colonies, comes across Leopard, a hostile artificial intelligence that has been installed on a colony. Joining her are Itsuki Kannagi, an officer with the Inter-Colony Police, Honoka Kawai, a quiet young girl of few words, and a robot named Imoko, nicknamed Imo-chan. The series mixes science fiction adventure and comedy with mecha elements.
