A show about nothing that somehow becomes everything. Mamekichi's deadpan refusal to participate in the world is the whole joke, and it never gets tired of that joke because the joke is real, there's genuine comfort in watching someone be completely, unapologetically themselves in the smallest possible way. The comedy lives in the space between what she says and what she's actually thinking. Second season trusts you already know her rhythm. It just lets her exist.

Mameko is back for a second season of short comedy episodes about her life as a NEET. She shares her home with her dog Komachi and her three cats, Tabi, Simba and Mero. Every day she vows to really try starting tomorrow, yet when tomorrow comes she tires out and gives up almost at once. Her daily routine stays a little ordinary, a little fun and a little odd. For viewers who enjoy lowkey slice-of-life humor, her continued idleness offers easygoing laughs.
