Anime Like Working Buddies!
A cheerful cat and a cynical cat get paired for random jobs, and somehow their complete incompatibility becomes the whole point. SYNOPSIS
Two cats with completely opposite personalities get thrown together for their college work-study program. Tapio, an energetic calico with relentless optimism, bounces into every shift convinced that today will be amazing. Kuehiko, a cynical Russian blue who sees disaster in every situation, drags his paws through the same jobs with a perpetual scowl. They're supposed to be a team, but they can barely agree on anything. What starts as a recipe for constant friction becomes something unexpectedly functional. Tapio's infectious enthusiasm actually gets things done, while Kuehiko's pessimistic planning prevents most of the disasters he predicts. As they work through a series of random gigs around town, their bickering becomes more affectionate, their dynamics more synchronized. Neither one changes who they fundamentally are, but they both discover that having someone to complain with, laugh with, or just exist alongside makes the mundane parts of adult life considerably less lonely. It's a comedy built on the chemistry of two fundamentally mismatched characters learning that compatibility doesn't always mean similarity.
