Aesop is a mischievous young boy who ends up in another world, one full of creatures he never thought were real, like fairies and donkeys that can talk. Determined to get back to the human world, he sets out on a journey through this strange land. Along the way he makes friends with many figures from familiar fables and faces a series of trials, and each one leaves him with a worthwhile lesson. The result is a fantasy adventure movie built around those lessons.
