A kid wakes up with superpowers he didn't ask for and has to figure out what that means while actual Avengers are watching him try. The show treats this like a real problem, not just a setup for action sequences. It's surprisingly thoughtful about growth and mentorship without ever asking you to sit through Heavy Anime Themes.

Makoto is a young boy who gains superpowers through a sinister gene manipulation experiment carried out by the evil organization Hydra. The Avengers rescue him along with two other children, Adi and Chloe, who were given powers the same way. The heroes take the trio in as apprentices known as the Future Avengers. Under the guidance of Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Wasp, Makoto and the others train, fight villains, foil their schemes, and grow into a new generation of heroes in this superhero action series.
