Sayama hides behind his mask at school, content to exist in the shadows as an unremarkable, pessimistic presence. That changes the moment Saikawa, the most sought-after guy in class, tears it away on impulse. Sayama lashes out, but instead of leaving him alone, Saikawa takes an interest in him and in the face under the mask. He offers tutoring with an uncomfortable catch: Sayama has to let him touch his bare face however he wants. The thing is, Sayama genuinely hates having his face, lips and mouth touched.
