A cheerful cake shop becomes the unlikely headquarters for Mini Moni, a J-pop group juggling confections and chaos in equal measure. Mika leads the operation with determined patience while Aibon and Nono keep stirring up trouble, and she also has to show newcomer Ai-chan how things work. Their regulars keep things interesting: Yaguchi-san is a lively florist with a shop of her own, and her friend Gocchin, a flight attendant, keeps trying to impress everyone with knowledge she doesn't actually have about the places she says her job has taken her.
