A creature hatches from a nut in your new bedroom, and suddenly the massive tree-house you're living in stops feeling like a move and starts feeling like coming home. Every episode adds another weird little neighbor, another corner of the Happiness House that shouldn't work but does, another reason to stay. It's the kind of show that doesn't build toward anything except the next quiet morning with a friend who literally came from nowhere and somehow became everything.

Michi's family has moved into the Happiness House, a huge tree covered in little buildings and houses, some perched on its branches and some tucked inside it. Her mother is not thrilled, but Michi loves the new cottage. While looking around her attic bedroom, she finds a strange nut-like object, and before long a curious creature called Nanami-chan hatches from it. The two quickly become friends. Together they learn all sorts of new things, and each day they meet more of the tree's eccentric residents. The result is a short-format comedy about a girl's everyday life in an unusual home.
