Nobody talks about this one. Mini Van is comedy that doesn't need to shout, it finds the absurd in small moments and sits with them long enough that you laugh without warning. Episodes are short enough that you can watch one between tasks, but loose enough in their pacing that they feel like you're hanging out with friends who actually get comfortable silences. The Flash animation is cheap and it shows, but that stripped-down aesthetic somehow makes the jokes land harder, like someone just drew the funniest thing they could think of and called it a day. It's the kind of show that doesn't ask you to care about plot or character arcs. It just wants you to smile at something stupid and move on.

Mini Van is a comedy made up of 37 short episodes from 2013, animated in flash and adapted from the manga Mini Vanguard. A DVD of the show was packaged with booster packs for a card game, specifically the VG-BT13 and VG-BT15 sets.
