Wait, this is a clip show. Don't skip it anyway. The new footage answers what happened to each pilot after the series ended, and the recaps are edited to follow individual character threads instead of the show's original timeline, which means you're essentially getting five different versions of Gundam Wing depending which pilot you follow. It's the kind of thing that exists because the show left too much unsaid, and fans demanded closure badly enough that Sunrise gave it to them.

Operation Meteor is a four-episode mecha OVA that recaps events from the Gundam Wing TV series across two video releases. Each video pairs an Odd episode with an Even episode. The Odd episodes center on Heero, Trowa and Wufei, while the Even episodes focus on Duo and Quatre. Alongside the recap material, the episodes add short new scenes showing the characters after the final episode of the TV series.
