A woodcutter and his wife, unable to have children of their own, find a peach with a boy inside it and raise him as Momotaro. The child grows into someone of unusual strength, strong enough to take on Lord Brindled Dog, Lord Monkey of the Mountain, and Lord Pheasant of the Moor. Rather than staying enemies, the three submit to him and join his side. With his new companions in tow, Momotaro sets his sights on Onigashima, ready to face down every ogre on the island.
