A kid with nothing but video game instincts gets dropped into a world that runs on the exact same rules he's been mastering his whole life. His monsters aren't tools or status symbols; they're his actual friends, and watching him choose to stay and fight for them instead of trying to escape back home is the whole heart of the show. The real monster isn't the one on the disc at the end, it's what happens when you stop running away and start building something that matters.

Genki is a boy who loves video games, until one day he is pulled into the world of Monster Rancher itself. There he meets a girl named Holly and a band of monsters: Mochi, Suezo, Golem, Tiger and Hare. Picking up where the original story ended, Genki and his companions set out to win the legend cup, hoping that victory will release Holly's father from the mystery disc that holds him. The show is a fantasy adventure that mixes action and comedy across 25 episodes.
