The third season of Ojamajo Doremi opens with the girls regaining the witch powers they had lost. Getting their magic back comes with a condition: the witches of the Witch World now put them through a series of tests. They also gain a new teammate, Momoko, a transfer student from New York who becomes the yellow witch. Years in America have left her Japanese shaky, though it gets better once she transforms. Her former mentor was a baker, so she helps the others bake, which suits this season's shop: it is now a bakery, where the girls wear special baking outfits and headsets.
