SYNOPSIS
Kouichi Haimawari has accepted his mediocrity. A college student with a forgettable Quirk and no shot at hero school, he's made peace with a quiet life on the sidelines. But when he and his friend Pop☆Step cross paths with Knuckleduster, a masked vigilante operating in the shadows of a hero-obsessed society, everything shifts. This grizzled crimefighter sees potential where Kouichi sees only failure, and he offers them something the legitimate hero system never would: a real chance to make a difference. Operating outside the law means dodging authorities while hunting criminals the official heroes ignore. Kouichi discovers that becoming a hero doesn't require a license or validation from above. It requires conviction, training, and willingness to break rules for the right reasons. As the trio takes on increasingly dangerous cases, Kouichi must decide whether he's chasing a fantasy or finally becoming the person he always wanted to be. The gap between hero and vigilante has never felt closer.
