The three-hero dynamic finally clicks because Deku and Bakugo stop performing their rivalry and actually move like a unit. Sakuga moments hit different when they're stretched across a globe-trotting heist instead of confined to school hallways. The pacing drags, and the plot lands exactly where you expect it to, but the movie earns its two hours on the spectacle of watching these three move together without talking about it.

A terrorist organization has set in motion a plot to eradicate Quirks from humanity forever. The group, Humarise, believes people with Quirks are diseased, and its extremists have built Trigger Bombs that make Quirk users lose control and die. The clock is ticking toward global catastrophe, and the world's heroes scramble to stop the countdown. Deku is on a work study in Otheon with Japan's top Pro Hero when he is falsely accused of murder, and he ends up on the run with Roddy Soul, a local boy. Alongside Bakugo and Todoroki, Deku races to stop the scheme led by Humarise's elusive leader, Flect Turn, while dodging the group's other members. The film is an action adventure with a sci-fi edge.
