A creature hatches from a nut in your new bedroom, and suddenly every day in this impossible tree-house is exactly the right amount of strange. The show knows comfort isn't about nothing happening, it's about the right kind of nothing, small discoveries with someone who just got there with you. By episode three you've stopped asking why the Happiness House exists and started noticing how it feels to belong inside it.

Michi and her family move into the Happiness House, a giant tree covered with small buildings and homes, some perched on it and some built inside. Looking around her new bedroom, Michi comes across a strange object shaped like a nut, and a peculiar creature named Nanami-chan soon hatches from it. The two quickly become close friends, learning new things together and meeting more of the house's eccentric residents each day in this short-form comedy.
