Four seasons in and this thing still refuses to raise its voice. Same tree, same girl, same little creature who came out of a nut she found poking around her new bedroom, and that is precisely the point: Nanami-chan runs on repetition the way a bedtime story does, and by the fourth round the Happiness House feels less like a setting and more like an address you've memorized. Sixteen more shorts of Michi learning something small and meeting another odd neighbor tucked into one of those buildings grown onto the trunk. Nothing is at stake. Nobody is hiding a tragic past. The whole run is over faster than most single episodes of anything else airing in 2007. Put it on when your brain is fried and let a talking sprout in a tree fix your evening.

Nanami-chan 4 is a 2007 short from Group TAC.
