A genie who grants wishes but makes them hilariously backfire is the entire show, and it never runs out of ways to twist what people actually want versus what they deserve. The comedy lives in that gap, a kid wishes for courage and gets turned into a giant chicken. A woman wants beauty and becomes a literal mirror. Every episode fires the same premise at a new angle and somehow lands it. You stop waiting for the formula to break because the formula is the joke, and the show trusts that timing enough to do 237 episodes without apology. This is the show you put on when you need something that works the same way every time because that's the whole point.
