Spring break romance hits different when you're not sure who you're actually falling for. Yuna chases a ghost of her first love while stumbling into something real with someone who's actually there. The movie squeezes two love stories into ninety minutes, which means every glance and conversation feels heightened, sometimes to the point of breaking under its own weight, but when it lands, that confusion between fantasy and actual connection is exactly what being seventeen feels like.

Yuna Ichihara's spring break starts on a sad note when she says goodbye to her best friend Sacchan, who is moving away. On the way home, the shy girl runs into a boy who looks just like the prince from a shoujo manga, her first love. She also meets Akari Yamamoto, a mature girl who turns out to be her new neighbor, and the two quickly become friends. Once they start at the same high school, Yuna takes an interest in Akari's brother Rio, the mysterious boy from spring break, while Akari falls for Yuna's easygoing childhood friend Kazuomi Inui. The four friends see love in very different ways, and complications keep them from moving forward until they face their own struggles and the secrets between them. The film is a drama and romance adapted from Io Sakisaka's shoujo manga.
