In the winter of 1998, an ordinary student finds that another world has begun to take shape within him, spreading over his everyday life the way snow blankets the ground. Only now does he start to notice what he has taken for granted: the familiar scenes of his days, and the warmth of someone he loves without having realized it. These are the ties holding him to this world, keeping him from slipping away. For the first time, he sets out to find those bonds and the person who matters most.
