The Straw Hats set out on a perilous journey into the sky, bound for a place that seems lifted from a fairytale. Skypiea, an island among the clouds with a great city of gold, awaits them, but a feud between winged clans and a self-proclaimed God stand in their way. Only Luffy can stand up to this God's power and uncover secrets of the past. This special is the first Episode of release to adapt the Skypiea arc, and it includes a character who was absent from the original anime version of the story.
