Luffy and Law's dynamic is built on the fact that they don't trust each other but need each other anyway, and watching them work around that tension never gets old. The action between them has weight because it's not about who wins, it's about whether they'll actually follow through on the alliance when it matters. A special that exists because these two characters matter enough to the story that fans demanded to see them together.

During the Great Age of Pirates, an unseen episode featuring Luffy and Law is set after the fighting in Wano Country.
