Stampede doesn't have a plot so much as an excuse to watch every pirate you've ever cared about fight in the same arena. The movie knows exactly what it is: two hours of pure momentum where the only story that matters is "can Luffy punch his way through the entire world?" The OST does the actual heavy lifting, taking Nakashima's themes and remixing them into something that makes your chest tight the moment a familiar character walks onscreen.

The fourteenth One Piece film, made for the anime's 20th anniversary, is set at the Pirates Festival, a huge celebration organized by pirates for pirates. Its host, Buena Festa, known as the Master of Festivities, invites Luffy and the Straw Hat crew, who sail in on the Sunny. They find grand pavilions and a crowd that includes the Worst Generation crews, along with Shichibukai and Marines drawn to the event. The contest is to find a treasure left behind by Gol D. Roger. As the crews fight it out in a free-for-all battle royale, a pirate no one expected appears and changes the game. The film mixes action, adventure, comedy and drama.
