A kingdom descends into chaos when its ruler falls to an assassination orchestrated by the Holy Knights, the very soldiers sworn to protect him. Princess Elizabeth escapes into hiding, carrying a desperate secret: the Seven Deadly Sins, legendary warriors branded as traitors years before, were framed by these same Holy Knights. Now she hunts for the exiled warriors, hoping their infamous power can restore her family's throne. Her search leads her to Meliodas, a small innkeeper who keeps a talking pig. He is one of the Sins, yet he carries no real sword and hardly resembles the fearsome warrior of legend, leaving Elizabeth to wonder whether the stories about the Sins were overblown. What follows mixes fantasy adventure, action and comedy as she seeks justice and a way to take back her kingdom.
