Humanity's reach into the stars means building from scratch. On a space colony still under construction in the near future, a group of young boys struggle to survive in an unusual environment and society, pushed around by fate. The film takes place over four seasons on the colony, and the boys' relationships develop as the seasons change. Their eyes show what mankind's future might really look like. This coming-of-age action adventure leans more toward fantasy than hard science fiction, despite its futuristic setting.
