A high school girl wishes to paint without putting in the work. The gods take her literally. Raijin summons real-life masters like Hokusai and tells them to teach her anyway, and the show treats this setup with the same deadpan energy a lazy student would use to argue her way out of homework. The masters bicker about technique while she half-listens. Her growth never feels earned, which is exactly the point, watching someone accidentally become good at something because she's too tired to quit is funnier than any montage could be.

Tenkorin Okakura is a high school slacker who wants to be a painter without putting in the work. While dreaming of a painter god, she wishes that her dreams could come true with no practice or effort. The god Raijin hears the wish, calls forth real historical artists, and tells Tenkorin to learn from them so her dreams can be realized. With their guidance, she sets out to become a true painter with a bright future. The show is a light fantasy comedy with a slice-of-life feel, adapted from a manga by Iwakiri Naoto.
