Marking seven hundred years since Dante's death, the film offers a new take on his reunion with Beatrice, drawing on La Vita Nuova and the three realms of the Divine Comedy: hell, purgatory and heaven. It pairs that story with a message for the young living through the situation that began in 2020. They are free to choose anything, whether death or life and love, and they are urged to leap into a coming new world carried by love for themselves and for others. The whole piece is framed as a poem offered to a young, fragile self.
