Albedo chasing Clementine with an army of janky CG goblins is the show admitting it knows exactly how ridiculous this premise is, and it commits completely. The comedy lives in that gap between godlike power and actual incompetence, between Ainz's perfect control and his subordinates solving problems by throwing bodies at them. This is a side story that doesn't try to matter, which is why it actually does.
Clementine has somehow managed to slip away from Nazarick, and now she's on the run. Albedo decides this escape demands immediate correction, enlisting Aura and Mare to join the pursuit with an absolutely ridiculous army of CGI goblins in tow. What follows is pure comedic chaos as this overpowered group barrels through the countryside with all the subtlety of a meteor strike, leaving destruction in their wake. The tone shifts hard here from the main series. Where Overlord plays its dark fantasy straight, this spinoff leans into absurdist humor and visual gags. The animation quality intentionally drops for comedic effect, especially during the goblin scenes, creating this deliberately janky aesthetic that somehow works. Expect slapstick action sequences where overwhelming power meets comedic incompetence, rapid-fire jokes, and the kind of ridiculous scenarios that happen when supremely powerful characters treat a simple manhunt like it's the most important military operation ever. If you want Overlord but faster, dumber, and funnier, this three-episode romp delivers exactly that without apologizing for the premise.
