Joining them are Cho Hakkai, a playboy with a fondness for drink, Sagojyou, a general from the heavenly army, and their horse Ryuuba, who is really the Dragon Crown Prince. The group's travels bring monster fights and even bishounen contests. The show is a comedic fantasy adventure in short episodes that parodies Journey to the West using characters from the Patalliro! manga.
