Previously unseen Evangelion storyboard art plays over an extended take on Shiro Sagisu's F2 theme, also called the Next Episode theme. Hideaki Anno supervises this short music film, and Mahiro Maeda directs and storyboards it. The track runs through four versions of the piece: an unreleased London Studio Orchestra recording at the opening, Takahashi's rendition featured on Xpressions, the arrangement from Piano Forte #1, and a version in which Megumi Hayashibara narrates a Japanese rendering of the English lyrics. Sagisu wanted to make a longer version after Anno told him, while they were finishing Q, that this would be the final use of the theme.
