SYNOPSIS
Pilot Yazawa wakes from a six-month coma following a catastrophic crash in his experimental Phantom jet. Before he can fully process what happened, an old acquaintance contacts him with a troubling question: why is another Phantom fighter appearing over the battlefields of El Salvador? The aircraft shouldn't exist outside classified military channels, yet there it is, changing the course of an armed conflict that's not Japan's fight. Yazawa's search for answers pulls him deeper into a web of international intrigue where defense contractors, military operatives, and shadowy government figures all want something from him. His piloting skills make him valuable, his past makes him vulnerable, and his conscience keeps him asking questions nobody wants asked.
