PistStar☆ is a two-minute promotional ONA made for keirin, the Japanese style of track cycling raced in a velodrome. The Nagoya Keirin Association commissioned it for the 62nd Nagoya Keirin Golden Dolphin Competition, which that year supported areas hit by the 2011 earthquake. Character designer Muroi Fumie and studio Madbox created the short, and it stars their original character, a woman called Pist-Star. The cycling betting site K-Dreams led the project.
