You set your Pokémon free in a place where they're supposed to be safe, and they immediately start causing chaos with each other instead. Pikachu ends up responsible for a baby Pokémon that isn't his, forced to keep the peace between creatures he can't control. The whole thing falls apart in the warmest possible way, a short that knows exactly what it is, and doesn't pretend a Pokémon daycare ever actually works out.

Ash and his companions bring their Pokémon to a resort built just for Pokémon, where the creatures can play and unwind outside their Poké Balls. The trainers let everyone loose for a day of fun, and Ash asks Pikachu to keep an eye on Togepi. Pikachu, Fushigidane and Zenigame take turns calming the fussy Togepi and trying to get it to sleep amid the noisy crowd. Then a rowdy group led by a Raichu shows up, wakes Togepi and starts a squabble with Pikachu and friends, putting the peaceful vacation at risk. The result is a short, comedic fantasy adventure centered on the Pokémon themselves, and it was shown on a double bill with the film Mewtwo no Gyakushuu.
