A manga artist who has been broken by depression walks into a 50-year-old building and finds it has been broken and rebuilt a hundred times over. The building doesn't offer wisdom or metaphors. SYNOPSIS
A manga artist returns to a familiar place in Osaka's heart: the Senba Center Building, a weathered commercial complex that has quietly witnessed fifty years of the city's changes. What begins as a commission to commemorate the building's anniversary becomes something far more intimate. Over four days, the artist wanders its corridors and shops, observing the steady rhythm of ordinary lives unfolding within its aging walls. There's no grand conflict here, just the gentle collision between two things that have endured: a person learning to live with their own fragility, and a structure that has simply continued existing despite the world shifting around it. The building doesn't judge or demand. It simply stands, patient and unremarkable, while the artist sketches and remembers. In those quiet moments between storefronts and stairwells, something unspoken passes between them. This is a film about small resurrections, about how sometimes the most healing conversations happen in places that ask nothing of us except to be present.
